Based in Casablanca and Paris, the Health division oversees the health departments of the ASCOMA African subsidiaries. ASCOMA health subsidiaries support you in the implementation, management and control of employees’ health plans. Our specialized teams provide you with the necessary insight related to your health plan, its structure, its evolution and its implementation to guarantee its sustainability.

During the plan set-up:

  • Tailored design of the plan’s structure, and its coverage, taking into consideration your actual needs, the specificities of your organization and your sector of activity.

During the execution of your contract

  • Statistical analysis of expenses taking into account both the performance of your plan and the broader monitoring of healthcare centers and trends observed in similar plans.

  • Active participation of medical consultants in the analysis and monitoring of your plan.

Management of your health plan

We put at your disposal a health plan management system designed for Africa and perfectly adapted to local specificities. This system is built upon four major concerns: the well-being of your employees and their families, control of healthcare costs, quality reporting and the protection of personal data. It relies on a proprietary information system that is efficient, secure and incorporates the latest technological developments.

Employees’ assistance

  • Employee information meetings at the start of the plan.
  • Handbook for the insured individual setting out coverage and procedures.
  • Medical consultants on hand to explain and clarify plans to beneficiaries and assist them during their course of treatment.

Third-party payment system

  • System exempting patients from paying medical providers during treatment: patients send their invoice directly to ASCOMA…without incurring healthcare costs (except user fees).
  • Service covering all health benefits that the patient may need during treatment: consultation, hospitalization, pharmacy, medical tests, dental care etc.
  • Access to the ASCOMA healthcare network.
  • To ensure uninterrupted access to healthcare for employees while traveling, accessible service in all countries where ASCOMA is present (21 countries).

Control of healthcare costs

  • Secure access to third-party payment thanks to a strong identification system (biometrics) and a real-time connection to the ASCOMA database for the verification of rights and coverage.
