We are looking for a Group Human Resources Manager, based in Libreville, Gabon, for a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will assist her in the day-to-day management of HR activities for the subsidiary and the region and help implement the Group’s HR processes and policies.

You will be responsible for a broad range of HR functions: recruitment, personnel administration, payroll, training, and handling individual and collective HR matters. You will work closely with the HR Lead, managers, and the Group HR Department.

Your Main Responsibilities

Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Help gather recruitment needs from managers and assist in drafting job descriptions;
  • Handle the various stages of the recruitment process: posting job openings, screening applications, and organizing and participating in interviews;
  • Prepare for and coordinate the arrival of new employees and their onboarding process.

Human Resources

  • Handle the administrative management of employees: contracts, amendments, personnel files, and HR documents;
  • Update administrative data and track personnel changes;
  • Track work hours, absences, time off, and other administrative details;
  • Assist with administrative procedures related to expatriates and interactions with social security agencies;
  • Help prepare HR data and reports.

Payroll and Social Security Reporting

  • Collect, prepare, and verify variable payroll components in coordination with the external service provider;
  • Help review pay stubs and social security reports;
  • Handle the administrative follow-up of payroll-related matters;
  • Prepare the various HR reports and statements needed to monitor business activity.

Training and HR Development

  • Help identify and track training needs;
  • Organize training sessions and handle the administrative follow-up;
  • Help implement the Group’s HR campaigns and projects;
  • Participate in HR initiatives related to onboarding, skills development, and employee engagement.

Social Relations and HR Monitoring

  • Assist the HR Coordinator in preparing for and following up on matters related to labor relations;
  • Help prepare for meetings with employee representatives and follow up on related actions;
  • Help monitor HR compliance with labor law and health and safety regulations;
  • Work with the HR Coordinator to address individual situations.

HR Coordination and Reporting

  • Ensure that headcount and HR metrics are updated and tracked;
  • Help track internal HR requests and processes;
  • Prepare and submit the necessary information and reports to the Group HR Department;
  • Ensure the proper implementation of the Group’s HR procedures and tools.

This list is not exhaustive. The person in this position may be asked to participate in other HR assignments and projects as needed by the company.

Profil recherché

  • Bachelor’s through master’s degree in Human Resources or Labor Law.
  • Experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Proficiency in office software.
  • English preferred.
