International Coordination Manager (M/F)

The Ascoma Group specializes in insurance brokerage. Its core market is primarily Africa. As part of the Chedid Capital group, which has specialized in reinsurance since its acquisition in 2021, ASCOMA has become one of the major operators in the insurance sector in all countries where the group is present. It remains the market leader in the field today.

Reporting to the Managing Director, we are looking for an International Coordination Manager (M/F) in the insurance brokerage sector. Drawing on your knowledge of international programmes, you will be required to coordinate international accounts and implement Pan-African programmes and local policies in Africa.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the international P&C coordination team;
  • Set up and coordinate international, multi-line and multi-country accounts;
  • Ensure accounts are assessed according to their level of complexity and allocated within the coordination team;
  • Follow the processes put in place by the Company’s Management;
  • Ensure local policy cover takes effect and guarantee sound administrative and financial management;
  • Monitor updates to local regulations and practices;
  • Liaise with subsidiaries and correspondents to monitor the Ascoma International portfolio;
  • Carry out the necessary follow-ups with Africa-based subsidiaries to ensure ongoing matters are handled;
  • Manage requests for quotations and placements for local business;
  • Maintain relationships and follow-up with introducing brokers.

Required profile & skills

Education: Insurance Law, or Applied Foreign Languages (LEA)

Technical skills:

  • Strong technical expertise in international account management

  • Fluent English is essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft IT tools
