Today, it remains the market leader in this field. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the Group\u2019s HR policy <strong>\u2014<\/strong> as defined by the Group Human Resources Department\u2014is implemented <strong>within the subsidiaries, primarily in Africa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>He\/she works with senior management and local HR teams on all operational HR matters and provides day-to-day support to subsidiaries on human resources, organizational, managerial, and socio-legal issues. In this role, he or she monitors HR practices across the organization to ensure they comply with internal procedures, local regulatory requirements, and Group standards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>He or she addresses both day-to-day operational HR issues and complex or sensitive HR situations that require coordination, decision-making, and a quick response.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Operational HR Support for Subsidiaries<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the executives and managers of subsidiaries with all day-to-day HR issues and sensitive situations.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to local HR teams in managing individual, group, organizational, and disciplinary matters.<\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance to operational staff on human resources and management issues.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the proper implementation of the Group&#8217;s HR policies, procedures, and standards.<\/li>\n<li>Identify HR risks and propose appropriate action plans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Multi-Subsidiary HR Management and Coordination<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide cross-functional oversight of HR matters across the various subsidiaries.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that HR information is reported to and shared with the Group HR Department.<\/li>\n<li>Support the standardization of HR practices across the entities.<\/li>\n<li>Identify HR risks and propose appropriate action plans.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a liaison between the subsidiaries, Group functions, and the HR Department.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Recruitment, Mobility, and Talent Development<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support subsidiaries in identifying and anticipating their hiring needs.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the recruitment process for certain strategic or sensitive positions.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of integration pathways, internal mobility, and talent management.<\/li>\n<li>Support discussions related to changes in organizations, job roles, and skills.<\/li>\n<li>Help implement skills development policies within the subsidiaries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>HR Administration and Social and Legal Compliance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In collaboration with local HR teams, oversee the administrative management of personnel and ensure compliance with HR practices.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to subsidiaries on labor law issues and local regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor pre-litigation and litigation matters in coordination with internal contacts and external counsel.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure consistency in the organizational structures, reporting lines, and responsibilities defined within the subsidiaries.<\/li>\n<li>Help ensure that HR practices are secure and that Group procedures are followed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation, Payroll, and HR Reporting<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In coordination with the Group Payroll and Compensation Manager<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide support to subsidiaries on issues related to compensation and pay equity.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in wage campaigns and compensation reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the proper implementation of the Group&#8217;s compensation policies.<\/li>\n<li>Provide comprehensive oversight of payroll processes in collaboration with local teams.<\/li>\n<li>Help ensure the reliability of HR data and track key performance indicators.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>HR Projects and Transformation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to the implementation of the Group&#8217;s HR roadmap.<\/li>\n<li>Help implement key HR initiatives in the subsidiaries.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting local teams through change.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR tools, processes, and practices.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate certain cross-functional HR projects.<\/li>\n<li>Promote the sharing of best practices among the various entities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The person in this position may be required to perform additional duties related to the organization\u2019s needs and development.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Education, Certifications, Experience, and Languages<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master&#8217;s degree in Human Resources, Labor Law, or an equivalent field.<\/li>\n<li>At least 8 to 10 years of professional experience in a generalist HR role, including significant exposure to labor relations, payroll management, and multi-site HR management.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in a multicultural and\/or multinational environment, with local compliance challenges.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in French is required.<\/li>\n<li>A good command of business English is strongly preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Skills and Experience Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>General HR expertise: Ability to address all HR issues with objectivity, thoroughness, and a pragmatic approach<\/li>\n<li>HR Leadership: Ability to implement the Group\u2019s HR strategies and position oneself as a credible liaison for the HR Department.<\/li>\n<li>Consulting and dispute resolution skills: the ability to analyze situations, identify risks, and make operational recommendations.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of legal and social issues: Ability to ensure compliance in HR practices and to work with local external counsel.<\/li>\n<li>Skills in HR and Payroll Administration: Proficiency in payroll cycles, social security filings, and internal audits.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills: Ability to manage relationships with labor and management representatives, teams, and internal\/external stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Analytical skills and results-oriented approach: Ability to use HR data to support strategic decisions.<\/li>\n<li>HR Project Management: Ability to organize, coordinate, and monitor cross-functional HR projects (training, mobility, digital transformation, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Cross-functional coordination: Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, both at headquarters and in subsidiaries.<\/li>\n<li>Autonomy and reliability: Ability to prioritize, ensure the safety of individuals, and issue alerts when appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Adaptability and political acumen: The ability to navigate complex, multicultural, or sensitive environments.<\/li>\n<li>Discretion and Professional Ethics: Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The position is a 6-month fixed-term
