It remains the market leader in the field today. <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of a permanent contract, we are looking for a Chief Accountant (M\/F) for our subsidiary in Conakry, Guinea, who will report to the Zone Administrative and Finance Director.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your main responsibility is to oversee the company\u2019s accounting, financial, administrative and social management, ensuring the reliability of operations, compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, and the smooth running of administrative and HR activities. You will also ensure cash-flow monitoring, the production of financial reporting, and coordination with the company\u2019s various internal and external partners.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ACCOUNTING AND FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Manage day-to-day accounting (invoicing, collections, reconciliations, payments, etc.)<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Perform bank reconciliations<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Prepare all tax and social security filings, in compliance with applicable regulations<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Carry out monthly, quarterly and annual closings within statutory deadlines and in line with Ascoma Group requirements<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Manage relationships with the accounting firm, statutory auditors and the tax, social security and pension authorities<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Prepare and circulate internal and Group reporting to authorised persons<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Ensure accounting entries are correctly recorded in the dedicated software provided<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Ensure proper filing and archiving, both physical and digital, of accounting documents<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Carry out periodic checks on activities within your scope<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Monitor and manage cash flows, optimise financial costs and secure the funding required for the company\u2019s development<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Prepare summary documents such as the income statement, trial balances, operating statement and balance sheet.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Ensure the monitoring and rigorous management of the FDR intended for the management of health insurance, monitor the settlement of the Company\u2019s receivables until full payment, as well as the monitoring of payments to providers within the healthcare network.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Management of general services<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Management of staff HR files<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Payroll management and absence tracking<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Management of staff insurance (onboarding, departures and renewals) and company insurance (MRP, RC, etc.)<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Required Profile<\/strong>:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree (+3 years) in Accounting, Finance or Management<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>At least 3 to 5 years\u2019 professional experience in a similar role, ideally in a Group environment<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Experience in the insurance sector would be an asset.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Required skills:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Good command of Sage 100 software<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>MS Office, Outlook and collaboration tools skills<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>General accounting skills<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Ability to control and monitor financial flows<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Rigour, discretion and organisation<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Autonomy and responsiveness<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Strong analytical and summarising skills<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Deadline management and ability to prioritise<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ascoma Group specialises in insurance brokerage.
